A peer support group for women aged 18 – 25 who have lived experience of mental health issues. This group is a safe place for women to support each other around enhancing their wellbeing. It’s a place to air their worries about mental health, boost their confidence and positive self-esteem and to share their stories and experiences.

The group have participated in lots of different activities and projects over the last few months, including:
- Peer Support training
- Creative writing workshops and production of a collection of their writing
- Attending a residential at Northern College re Positive Thinking
- Pamper sessions
- Yoga/ Mindfulness sessions

I have really enjoyed being part of the side by side project, the youth work course was a great starting point, giving me the tools to understand how a peer support group needs to run.
